T&E Care’s Holiday Meal Outreach brings our community together to support local families with nourishing holiday meals in times when food insecurity can feel especially overwhelming. We provide both prepared meals and grocery support to help families celebrate the holidays with comfort and peace of mind. These efforts are made possible by the efforts of our volunteers and generous donors.

Each Thanksgiving, T&E Care helps ensure local families can enjoy a traditional holiday meal by providing fully prepared Thanksgiving dinners or the ingredients needed to cook at home. For many families facing financial strain, the cost of a Thanksgiving meal can be out of reach. This program allows parents and caregivers to focus on time together rather than food costs, helping make Thanksgiving a moment of comfort and gratitude.

Donors sign up to provide or sponsor Thanksgiving meal items, dinner fixings provided by HomeCooked in Paoli, and fresh produce is graciously provided by the Amana Foundation. The sign-up is typically available in mid-October. The chairmen for the Thanksgiving Dinner Outreach are Danyll Lockett and Cindy Gilroy, who can be contacted at turkeys@tecare.org.

T&E Care hosts a Holiday Food Drive to provide families with grocery items and holiday meals when expenses are often at their highest. In addition to festive meal support, this program helps stock pantries with essential food items to carry families through the winter months. With the support of our community, T&E Care helps ensure families have both the nourishment they need and the reassurance that they are not alone during the holiday season.
