T&E Care provides short-term assistance to residents of Tredyffrin and Easttown Townships who are facing unexpected financial or life challenges.

We offer urgent assistance to prevent crises like eviction or utility shut-offs. We help families in need through tough times with assistance for housing, utilities, food, transportation, medical needs, and more.

T&E Care is not a source of ongoing financial support.

Before requesting assistance:

For rent help – call 211 or visit pa211.org first – this government program can often provide greater assistance than T&E Care can

For PECO help – check with the PECO Customer Relief Fund to apply – this is on a first-come, first-served basis

Utilities help – if you qualify for food stamps, you will likely qualify for LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program) support. The LIHEAP season is open December 3, 2025 through April 10, 2026.

Other types of help – visit our Resources Page for additional support options
