Each Thanksgiving, T&E Care works with the community to provide a Thanksgiving meal for local families. This year, we supported 11 families with a Thanksgiving meal and groceries. The community signed-up to provide turkeys, turkey pans, and homemade pumpkin bread and sponsored Thanksgiving dinner fixings and non-preishable grocery items that the families cannot obtain at local food pantries. We are grateful to our partners HomeCooked in Paoli for the Thanksgiving dinner fixings and the Amana Foundation for the grocery items.
All items were collected on Tuesday, November 25th and delivered to the families that evening. Our hearts all full to be able to provide a Thanksgiving meal to our neighbors in need. Everyone was so very grateful. “It’s the best Tuesday of the year!” said Cindy Gilroy, Co-Chair of the event.
