Donating Clothes & Accessories
Occasionally T&E Care receives requests from families for clothes. If you have to decide between spending money on food, heat, gas for your car or clothes, the clothes are usually not going to be purchased. Occasionally we have specific requests for families who have determined they really need something and don’t have the funds to buy new things. When we learn of such requests, we post them on the home page. If you see such a request – then let us know! Please be sure the items are clean and in good condition. New items are always appreciated.
T&E Care has no storage facility. If we don’t have any current requests and you need to get rid of your items quickly consider using one of the options listed below. The best place for donations include Platos Closet and the Good Samaritan Thrift Shop. Both of these sites work with T&E Care if we learn of a family needing clothes. If you have new items or something special to share, and you aren’t in a rush, feel free to send information about your items to stuff@tecare.org including general description with sizes (i.e. size 6 girls short sleeve shirts) and if possible a picture. We will circulate that info and see if anyone has a need.
Other Options for Donating Clothes & Accessories
If you have clothing items to donate, we have no corresponding needs and you are not able to store them yourself until a need arises, there are other options. Please make sure items are clean and in good condition.
