Fall Fest 2024

September 21, 2024 – mark your calendars now

We’re moving back indoors in 2024.  After last year’s canceled concert it was decided to go the less risky route and move our big fundraiser back indoors.  We are excited to share that the 17th annual T&E Care Fall Fest will be held at Waynesborough Country Club on Saturday, September 21st. Be the KEY will be an engaging night of fun with community members across the Tredyffrin and Easttown area enjoying an interactive musical experience that will be sure to captivate and delight.

The Philly Keys featuring Brian Aglira (Conestoga Class of 2002) will be taking centerstage in a dueling piano showdown fueled by audience participation.  Be the KEY promises to be an unforgettable night of music, great food and drinks and one-of-a-kind entertainment that will benefit an even better cause.  Adam Joseph, from 6ABC, will be our emcee for the evening.  It will be a night to remember!

Please join us in making a difference in our mission to support our local community.  Families helping Families.  With your generosity we can continue making Fall Fest our largest fundraising event ever!  More details to come in the near future.  Questions can be sent to fallfest@tecare.org.

SPONSOR-A-CHILD

If you’d like to make a donation with a specific purpose in mind – you can use some of our “sponsor-a-child” ideas listed below.  Just choose the categories you like and then donate as explained in the DONATE box on this page. Just make sure to add a note indicating that it’s for Sponsor-A-Child.

1 – GIVE A MONTH OF LUNCHES – A donation of $40-$60 will buy lunch for a month.

A donation of $40 (Elementary), $50 (Middle), or $60 (High School) will buy lunch for a student for a month.  We all know how important lunch is to keep a child fueled throughout the day.  This is a significant game changer in our efforts to help a child focus better in class.
2 – EDUCATION IS THE KEY – A donation of $50 will buy a book for a college student.
It is often education that breaks the cycle of poverty.  With tuition rising quickly, attaining a college degree can be more challenging for some.  The College Assistance Program provides aid to offset tuition costs, purchase textbooks and computers, and help with other college-related fees and costs.

3 – SEND A KID TO CAMP – A donation of $75 will pay for a week of summer township camp.
In our area, most kids have a summer of fun attending enriching camps and going on a family vacation.  The kids that T&E Care supports often don’t have these opportunities—their summers typically entail sitting at home, day after day, for almost three months.  Can you imagine what a special treat it would be for these kids to be able to attend some type of camp for even just a week?  Summer camp provides important unstructured outdoor play, enables engagement with other kids, teaches new skills, and allows kids to relax in a safe setting.
4 – KEEP A CHILD WARM IN WINTER – A donation of $100 will buy oil for a family.

The Home & Hearth Program helps local families—people right in our community—who are temporarily struggling to make a housing or utility payment.  Our goal is to prevent families from entering a downward economic spiral from which recovery can be very difficult, if not impossible.  Keeping a family in a house with the heat turned on is a very important part of our mission.
